Greenmount Scout Group

7th Ramsbottom (Greenmount) Scout Group has been running successfully for over 50 years!

We are a thriving Group in the area.

We have 1 Beaver Colony, 2 Cub Packs and 1 Scout Troop, one of the largest and most successful Scout Groups in the North West.

If you think Scouting’s just about knots, woggles and big shorts, then be prepared to be surprised. It’s how Richard Branson, Barack Obama and David Beckham got their start in life and you can benefit too!

Our Sections

Beavers

Our Beaver Sections run on Monday and Thursday. Currently not meeting due to COVID restrictions.

The aim of Beavers is to meet new friends and try different activites!

Ages – 6 to 8yrs

Cubs

Our Cub Sections run on Monday and Friday. Currently not meeting due to COVID restrictions.

In Cubs we try to learn more practical skills whilst having new exciting activites!

Ages – 8 to 10½yrs

Scouts

Our Scout Section is run on Friday. Currently only meeting “virtually” due to  COVID restrictions.

In Scouts, we build resilience, confidence and a sense of adventure!
